Allensbach lies on the Gnadensee, the western part of Lake Constance. The cycle path runs past the site, Reichenau Island is opposite, and Konstanz is a few minutes away by train.

Where to go
- Reichenau IslandFrom the site by bike, and in summer by boat with your bike too. The island is flat, green and ideal for a day trip. For a bite to eat, try the fish restaurants at the Stedi harbour.
- KonstanzThe biggest town on the lake, with an old town, a harbour and shopping streets. With the guest card you travel there free of charge.
- Lake Constance Cycle PathRuns right past the site. West towards Radolfzell and the Höri, east towards Konstanz.
- Höri peninsulaGo by boat, come back by bike. The route along the shore is one of the most beautiful in the area.
- Canoeing and water sportsCanoe trips on the Untersee. Pedalos are available right here on the site at the Treibgut surf school. Pedalos, rowing boats and canoes can also be hired from Bootsvermietung Baumann in Allensbach, where there is a discount with the guest card.
- Bodanrück Wildlife and Leisure ParkA day out for families with children, entirely outdoors. Cheaper with the guest card.
Bodenseecard West
With your tourist tax you receive the Bodenseecard West. It lets you travel free of charge on local public transport in the designated zones.
