Accessibility

We want every guest to be able to get to know our site and book online. Here you'll find what we've done to achieve that, where things still fall short, and how to reach us if something doesn't work.

What we offer

On campingamsee.com we provide information about Campingplatz Allensbach on Lake Constance: pitches, tent meadow, cabins and cyclist rooms, prices, rules, getting here and events. Through the website you can book online, manage your booking in your guest account and buy gift vouchers.

How a booking works

1. You choose your arrival, departure, number of people and the type of accommodation.
2. You see the available pitches as a list and on the site plan, and choose one.
3. You enter your details and your vehicle, check the summary with the total price and pay online.
4. The confirmation arrives by e-mail. Afterwards you can view and change your booking in your guest account.

Bookings are made online only: go to online booking. If you get stuck, get in touch with us (contact below).

How we meet the requirements

We follow the WCAG 2.1 web guidelines at level AA, which also underpin the European standard EN 301 549. Among other things, we have implemented the following:

• The pages are marked up in German so that screen readers read them out correctly.
• A "Skip to content" link takes you past the navigation straight to the content.
• Headings structure every page, and photos have descriptive alt text.
• The menu, forms and buttons can all be used with the keyboard.
• Text and controls have sufficient contrast. The page can be enlarged without losing content, including on a mobile phone.
• The "Where we are" map has buttons for zooming in and out. The address is always also shown as text underneath.
• Important rules such as the latest arrival time appear as text on the page, not only in images.

We checked this on 28.10.2026 using an automated testing tool (axe) on the website pages, the booking search and the guest account. A review by people with disabilities is still to come.

What is not yet accessible

• The site plan in the booking is a graphic. You can always select the same available pitches from the list next to it.
• The 360-degree tour of the site comes from another provider and is not accessible. The descriptions and photos on the pages about the site and accommodation contain the same information.
• PDF files such as the booking confirmation, invoice or gift voucher are not yet fully accessible. On request, we'll send you the content as a plain email.
• In the booking search and the guest account, a few hint texts still have too little contrast. We are fixing this.

Accessibility on the site

One wheelchair-accessible bathroom with toilet, shower and washbasin, accessible with a Eurokey. If you have questions about paths, ground surfaces or a suitable pitch, call or write to us before you book.
